Senior/ Assistant Manager - Financial Controller

Nair Systems is currently looking for Senior/ Assistant Manager - Financial Controller for our UAE operations with the following Skill set and terms & conditions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or audit roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and audit processes.
• Experience handling accounts payable, payments, and income controls.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to management.
Audit
• Plan and conduct internal audits for restaurant outlets.
• Review and test internal controls over:
o Cash handling and daily cash reconciliation
o POS systems and sales reporting
o Discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary items
o Inventory (food, beverage, and consumables)
• Perform surprise cash counts and stock counts.
• Identify operational and financial risks and recommend control improvements.
Payments & Accounts Payable
• Oversee accounts payable processes and payment cycles.
• Ensure payments are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with approval limits.
• Review vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Strengthen controls over payment and cash management processes.
Rental Income Management
• Monitor and control rental income recognition and reporting.
• Ensure accurate billing, collection, and reconciliation of rental income.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to address variances, overdue balances, or contract changes.
• Maintain proper records related to lease agreements and rental transactions.
Skills & Competencies

• Audit coordination and compliance management
• Process improvement and internal control mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel
